Saturday (2/6/2010)

Grace attended her first classmates birthday party at Jumpin Jax. Daddy was able to come home for the weekend and go with us. Those two are just alike, they both love thrill and adrenaline :) Here they are getting ready to go down the "Big" slide.

Friday (2/5/2010)

Grace loves bubble baths! She was so proud of herself and thought it was hilarious. She was actually the one that asked me to take this picture :)

Thursday (2/4/2010)

Grace, you are such a good little "mommy".

Wednesday ( 2/3/2010)

After Grace's pre-school today, we went to Burger King to eat and play. This is the first time that Grace even noticed the crowns and she wanted to wear it all day :)

Tuesday (February 2, 2010)

Grace had a "recheck" for an ear infection today. Her ear tubes are currently not functioning properly. In fact one of them is out of place and the other is clogged. Thankfully the infection was cleared up today, but the fluid remains. We are scheduled to see the ENT again in March to decide if a new set of tubes is needed, or what the plan should be.

Monday (February 1, 2010)

Grace's preschool is collecting Box Tops and the money goes towards books/equipment for the school. I thought this was a creative way to get the kids involved. Grace helped me glue them all to the tree.

Saturday (January 30, 2010)

Sooo, today would be the first day I forgot to take a picture. I will just recap the day for you and let you create your own picture in your mind :) We attended a wedding shower Saturday evening and had a wonderful time. The hostess had two dogs that Grace absolutely loved. They played the newlywed game and every time someone would laugh, Grace would start laughing. She was so funny and charmed everyone there.

Friday (January 29th, 2010)

Grace and I were invited to an indoor play center with a few other moms/kids from my bible study. This was the first time she has ever been to one (due to germ isolation in the past) and she had an absolute BLAST!

Thursday (January 28th, 2010)

We were shopping in Kroger (to get my "special" creamer) and Grace actually begged me to take her picture with Tony :)I will definitely take advantage of any opportunity that she gives me, as normally she is such a busy girl and standing still for a picture is less than ideal to her.

Wednesday (January 27th, 2010)

Thank you Daddy for my bath paints, I LOVE them!

Tuesday (January 26th, 2010)

You have to love Gerber. The same "puff snack" is loved by a one year old and a 3.5 year old :)

Monday (January 25th, 2010)

This is how we spend part of every evening. Skype literally keeps our family connected during TDY's and deployments :)

Sunday (January 24th, 2010)

Grace earned another patch in Awana's for memorizing her verse for the week!

Saturday (January 23rd, 2010)

This is my new FAVORITE creamer. I can only find it at Kroger and it is a limited edition. Sadly, I am afraid I will have to be finding a new favorite soon :(

Friday (January 22nd, 2010)

Grace enjoying her dinosaur cupcakes.

Her preschool class studied about dinosaurs for the week, so on Friday they had a dinosaur party. The mommy's and daddy's got to come and be a part of the party. Grace kept saying, "it fun, you come to my party".

Thursday (January 21st, 2010)

We were at Target and Grace decided to take some pictures with my phone. Surprisingly, she captured me in one of them. There were about 10 or so that were of the floor, shopping cart, etc. She does not understand yet to look at the screen before she takes a picture. She just holds it up and starts clicking away. It makes for a happy girl, which in turns makes for a happy mommy, so click away my sweet girl!

Wednesday (January 21st, 2010)

Tuesday (January 20th, 2010)

This was the first time Grace had ever been to a laundry mat. I had to take the comforters there after the aftermath of Grace's stomach bug. It was quite the ordeal :( The washing machine decided not to spin out and would not work anymore. So, we had to move the blanket to another washer. Needless to say much of the floor was flooded. The lady that was working the laundry mat was on a walker, so there was no way I was going to let her mop up the floor. The mop was absolutely disgusting and I can assure you, I will not be visiting that laundry mat anytime soon. Thankfully Grace was at school during most of the "ordeal" and only got to see the fun part, which was the blanket drying :) I will say though, it definitely made me thank God for the facilities that I am blessed with at home.

Monday (January 19th, 2010)

After being up most of the night for two nights straight, a LONG nap (2 hours :) was in order. This was right after we both woke up.

Sunday (January 17th, 2010)

Grace woke up around 11:30 Saturday night throwing up and was up most of the night doing so. This picture was taken the next morning and I think it speaks for itself. Poor baby couldn't keep anything down, but got a break around noon and was able to begin keeping liquids down. She still doesn't have her appetite back, but is beginning to eat more solid foods. Thankfully, mommy didn't/hasn't caught the bug.

Saturday (January 16th, 2010)

Grace wanted some music on in her room to dance to, so I put on one of her Kid Praise CD's. I peeked around the corner and I saw her saying her prayers to one of the songs. I know the picture is dark, but I wanted to capture the moment without interrupting her :)

Friday (January 15th, 2010)

Grace's preschool had Western Day and wanted all of the children to dress up in cowboy attire. We were very thankful for Grace's friend James who let us borrow his cowboy hat, belt and shirt.

Thursday (January 14th, 2010)

Grace had a rough night with sleeping, so this morning I decided to surprise her and go to Krispy Kreme in our pajamas. I LOVE LOVE drive thru's! Ace even went with us. Needless to say she was so excited and could hardly wait till we got home. Her choice was a chocolate one with sprinkles.

Wednesday (January 13th, 2010)

Grace told me she was making sandcastles for Daddy

Tuesday (January 12th, 2010)

Grace had a recheck for ears today. They looked great, however we did find out today she is allergic to the antibiotic Omnicef. She broke out in a rash after beginning the medication and then upon stopping it, the rash began to clear up. Oh and the bruise on your cheek is from you falling into the coffee table while chasing Ace around. Grace, you are such a big girl at the doctor's office now. You sit perfectly still while they look at your ears and you open your mouth and stick out your tongue so they can look at your throat without fussing at all. You weigh 29.5 lbs now and are 3 feet tall. We are so proud of you and love you so much!

Day 11 (January 11th, 2010)

Grace found the popsicle holder in the cabinet this morning and wanted to make posicles even though it is FREEZING outside. I already has Crystal Light Fruit Punch made up, so we just poured that in there and WALA, a few hours later we had popsicles. Though I will say I will choose another color besides red next time, her cheeks and mouth will thank me :) They have worked wonders for getting her to eat all of her dinner ( no dinner=no dessert).

Day 10 (January 10th, 2010)

Sunday, January 10, 2010

Day 9 (January 9th, 2010)

Grace in Mommy's Snuggie-I haven't even had the chance to use it yet. If the newness doesn't wear off soon, I guess I will be getting Grace her very own, so I can have mine back :)

Day 8 (January 8th, 2010)

Grace and Ace talking to Daddy

Thursday, January 7, 2010

Day 7 (January 7th, 2009)

The results of Grace deciding to share her drink with Ace.

Day 6 (January 6th, 2010)

I sat Grace down to paint a picture while I went to change out the laundry. Well, every since we let her paint all over herself at Halloween (painting the pumpkin), she "forgets" that she is only suppose to paint on the picture. I walked back in to hear her laughing and rubbing the paint in all over her hands and body. I am forever grateful for the inventors of washable paint :)

Day 5 (January 5th, 2009)

Coffee-Ahhhhh (especially on a day when it is freezing outside)

Day 4 (January 4th, 2009)

Grace and Ace playing football with Daddy! In a previous trip to the farm, Ace had gotten to play with a football of the boys and thoroughly loved it. So daddy and Grace decided to go get a football today and play together. We then headed outside and Ryan and Laura had so much fun playing keep away from Ace.

Day 3 (January 3rd, 2009)

Grace dressed and ready for church.

Day 2 (January 2nd, 2010)

We spent the afternoon at the Air Force Aviation Museum outside of base. Grace LOVES planes and was so excited to get to "fly" one.

Day 1 (January 1st, 2010)

We spent January 1st, 2010 with Beth, Brad, Payton, Grant and Sara Beth at the Georgia Aquarium. We were so excited that Daddy was off and able to go with us. They came back to our house afterward with Lucky.
